Independence and disclosure
Work After AI is a report about artificial intelligence, written by the founder of a company that builds AI systems. This page sets out which interests follow from that and how the report deals with them.
Who writes and publishes the report
The report is written by Gerhard Kürner. Since version 1.2 it is published by Kuerner Group GmbH in Wels, Austria, his own company. Versions 1.0 and 1.1 still name him personally as publisher, with the address of 506.ai in Linz.
Which interests the author has
Gerhard Kürner is Founder and CEO of 506.ai, the European platform for service-as-a-software and agentic engineering, Co-Founder of the Choose European initiative, and active in further roles in the field of enterprise software. He gives keynotes and takes part in discussions on the report's findings, including paid engagements.
506.ai earns money when companies adopt artificial intelligence. Two of the report's findings sit close to that business: that the technology has so far not destroyed jobs on a large scale, and that its benefit depends above all on rebuilding the organisation. Readers should know this and judge the evidence accordingly.
What the report does about it
- It is self-funded. No vendor, consultancy, association or public body pays for it, it carries no advertising, and nothing is paid for media coverage of the report.
- 506.ai and the author's other companies appear in the report neither as a source, nor as evidence, nor as a case study. The report is tied to no model and no vendor and recommends no product.
- Every figure is checked at its primary source and, where one exists, against a second independent source. Sources with an interest of their own are marked wherever they appear.
- Since version 1.2 the report relies only on sources that anyone can check. The assessments from the author's working conversations that were included up to version 1.1 have been dropped.
- The report's own assessments appear only in the predictions and in the outlook at the end of each chapter. The predictions are graded publicly the following year, including the ones that miss.
- None of the organisations cited saw the text before publication.
- Errors are corrected, with a date, in the version history at the end of the report.
How artificial intelligence assists
Research, source checking, drafting and copy editing are done with artificial intelligence on the 506.ai platform. The theses, the choice of sources, the predictions and every approval come from the author, and he has read every text. In the process the machine repeatedly invented figures and mixed up sources; these errors were found only because every statement was compared with its primary source.
Corrections
Please send notes on errors or conflicts of interest to gerhard@kuerner.at. Every correction appears, with a date, in the report's version history. To the report: Work After AI 2026.
